My first book was a collection of short stories called Hotel Malheureux. It was published and awarded Debut of the Year in 1995.
Since then I have written poetry, novels and more short stories as well as a few things for children. I prefer to deal with all literary genres and investigate the borders between them.
One of my collections of poetry, På den anden side (On the other side), came to life when I was travelling in Mozambique, Africa. To read 3 poems from the collection find them in the menu on the left.
As a direct result of my experiences in Africa I am now engaged in an attempt to found a publishers house in Malawi, helped by malawian writer Shadreck Chikoti.
My latest work, a collection of short stories; Det ved vi ikke endnu (We don't know that yet) was published in March 2011. The book has been awarded a prize from Danish Arts Agency.
I have since my debut received a number of grants for which I am very grateful.
